Ouro Preto

Ouro Preto is a small colonial town. It is located in the state of Minas Gerais, two hours from BH. This state is very rich in minerals, as the name suggests. Ouro Preto was built by the gold diggers. The city is therefore rich, it presents a multitude of churches at the bend of cobbled streets. One day is enough to visit the city but 2 days seem more suitable to enjoy the nights of this very student city. It is also possible to visit mines in the vicinity of the city. To get there you have to take the buses of the company Passaro Verde. Otherwise you have to wait until there are seats left on the bus to possibly be able to enter it.
