https://youtu.be/h7PN7zMfhY4 After enjoying the Rio Carnival and its excess, we went to Paraty. This small colonial town west of Rio is very popular for its beaches and boat tours. Its cobbled streets of the center and colorful houses are appreciable and relaxing. We were staying in a Posada to the west of the city about 10 minutes walk. It is easy to find a Posada (small hotel) or Hostel (hostel) at a low price and good quality on Booking. We stayed 3 days in Paraty On the 1st day we went to Penha to enjoy the natural slide where you can let yourself slide to land in the water. We visited the city, the beach and looked for a boat for the next day. After negotiations we got a price of 60R$ per person (count in the 100R$ depending on the excursion). If you are at least 4, try to go and negotiate prices with the boats in various colors moored on the port. DCIM100GOPROPR9722. On the 2nd day we took the boat around 8:30 am and left for a day by boat with several stops. It is worth it but try if possible to take an individual boat with several! On the 3rd day we went to Trindade. This small village about 1 hour from Paraty is UNMISSABLE! Indeed, the beach is exceptional, between jungle and ocean. It is also possible, after a walk along the sea, to discover the natural pool that is located between huge rocks.
